I’m actually pretty sure it doesn’t prevent ad impressions at all, even on multi-page articles. Safari still has to load the page’s contents, ads included, to get the article content, right? Corrections welcome.
I don’t know this for a fact, but my guess is it’s just pulling the HTML of the subsequent pages, which would not download any images or trigger any JavaScript or Flash on...
