Reblog notification in dashboard?

Has anyone else noticed that the dashboard doesn’t always show when someone reblogs your posts any more?

I’ve noticed that. I think it doesn’t post a notification if you follow the person that reblogged you (since you’ll see their reblog in your dashboard), but I don’t know for sure.
