My daughter’s birthday is tomorrow. She’ll be zero.

Not freaking out at all. Nope, nope, nope.

Ok, maybe a little.

But hey, we’ve managed to keep one small human alive for almost three years. What’s one more? And girls—they’re just like boys, right? Except the hospital doesn’t ask you about circumcision. So it’s simpler from the get-go. Right?

I am so ready for this.
