You know what I learned while I was off doing fatherly things? That Gayle Peevey was from Oklahoma. AND the OKC Zoo used the popularity of this song to raise money to buy their first hippo. AND that hippo lived at the zoo for 45 years. AND Gayle Peevey is still alive and recently hosted a sing-a-long at said zoo.

What I DIDN’T learn was how not to bore people with uninteresting stories.
